Designed for a Chicago couple looking towards retirement, they envisioned the Timber Cottage as a weekend retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The project takes advantage of the ½ acre, densely wooded site to provide a tranquil sanctuary a few blocks from Lake Michigan.
